ABOUT THE GAME

stay in shape was made for the VimJam 2, hosted by Vimlark and 8 Bits to Infinity, with the theme On The Edge. During the jam we were given 10 days to complete the theme with the requirement Boss.

GAMEJAM

stay in shape uses the theme by keeping the player on the edge for most of the gameplay, and uses the requirement by making the shape a boss.

WHAT'S INSIDE?

There are 4 shapes to play on:

1. Octagon
2. Pentagon
3. Diamond
4. Triangle

There are 7 mechanics to play against:

1. Rotater
2. Sniper
3. Pulses
4. Mines
5. Tracker
6. Lines
7. Automatic

HOW TO PLAY

Stay in the shape to damage the boss, once the bosses health is at zero, another boss will appear. 

Dodge the bullets to not take damage. Once the player's health reaches zero, the game is over.

•  Use WASD or a Joystick to move the player
• Use Shift or LB/L1 to perform your special move
